Holly is the Founder, Owner, and Director of HollyTree Wellness Centre. She holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, is an EMDRIA Certified Therapist and has does equine assisted psychotherapy in the summer months. Most of Holly's time goes to managing the clinic, supervising Master's Students on practicum, and maintaining continuity of care for an established caseload from the past; as a result she is not available for appointments with  new individuals and sends all referrals to the practitioners listed below. Ava Clark, MA, RCC ~ Not accepting referrals

Ava is a Certified Clinical Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. She holds a Masters in Art Therapy and uses several treatment modalities including E.M.D.R, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, as well as Hypnotherapy. She works all ages in areas such as anxiety and stress, depression, OCD, trauma, PTSD, post-partum anxiety/depression, life changes, relationship challenges, parenting, LGBTQ issues, and pain management. Francesca ter Poorten, MA - Candidate

Francesca is currently finishing her Master's Degree in Counselling Psychology with a practicum at Hollytree Wellness Centre from January to August, 2021 Working under the supervision of Holly Smee, Francesca will be providing subsidized counselling for $50/hour. For the time being, sessions are virtual by zoom or phone. Residing in Fernie, Francesca has been a life coach for 15 years and has also has taught yoga for 30 years and owns a yoga studio in her home town. She is available to work with adolescents and adults with a client centred framework utilizing mindfulness based cognitive behavioural therapy and narrative therapy. She can help with anxiety, stress, life transitions, anger management, transgender support, sexuality, depression, and addictions. Jineya Naicker, MA, CCC ~ Not accepting referrals

Jineya is a Certified Clinical Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association and has a Masters in Counselling Psychology. Her clinical style stems from person-centred mindfulness based approaches, EMDR, CBT, IFS, and attachment theory. In the past she has worked closely with immigrants and refugees, college populations, and LGBTQ community members. Kathie Robertson, MA, RCC

Kathie has a Masters in Counselling Psychology and is registered with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. She takes a client-centered approach to counselling and works with a variety of treatment modalities, like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Solution-Focused, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness-Based, Attachment-Based for both teens and couples and EMDR. Melanie is a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner with a Masters in Counselling Psychology. She is also a Gateless Writing Coach who encourages the use of the written word to heal and grow. She is passionate about helping adults move through any difficulties that may be creating a sense of stuckness in the mental, spiritual, emotional and physical bodies. She offers 20 years of education and expertise in the fields of injury and trauma recovery, stress reduction, and life coaching. Melanie's greatest purpose is to be an encourager and advocate for the wellness and dreams of those around her. Rebecca has 25 years of experience in the helping profession. She is a Registered Clinical Counselor and an EMDRIA Certified Therapist. She uses a variety of counselling techniques,  such as  Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), CBT - Insomnia, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Behaviour Analysis, EMDR and Inner Child Healing.
